Management Information Services
The Management Information Services Division provides information technology and data support for State Civil Service.
MIS is comprised of three areas - Application Development and Reporting, Technical Support and Document Management. The Applications Development
and Reporting section is responsible for the development and support of applications that serve the Department, Human Resource offices statewide and
the general public (through the SCS Web Site). The Applications Development and Reporting section also report statistics on the State’s workforce.
The Technical Support Section provides computer support services and is responsible for all components of our technical infrastructure. The Records
Management Section is responsible for the storage and maintenance of the Department's records as well as certain personnel records of employees of
the State of Louisiana.
